Over the weekend, Edie and I embarked on the Tour de Palm Springs Century. We happened to be out in Los Angeles visiting my sister and cousins, so it all fell into place. A 100 mile ride in the desert had enormous appeal based on the harsh winter we’ve been having in NYC. Thanks to my long time friend Sean Smith, we had a place to stay and a ride the rest of the way to Palm Springs.
Edie and I were both reminded of our honeymoon trip. This was the first time we’d ridden together on such a sunny, warm day. The terrain was mixed with flats, rollers and gradual climbs. Though, everything was encased by the mountains in the distance. A scene very reminiscent of our cross country journey. Thanks to Linked Cycling for taking us along.

/ May 28, 2011I followed your blog along your journey and throughly enjoyed it. I remember in a post you mention using an IPad to blog from the road. How did you get pictures onto the IPad from a camera in order to post them? I am touring this summer and would love to keep the old clunky laptop at home.
Thanks,
Craig
