We’ve been running around to various states to collect our strewn belongings. Please check back, as we plan to move into another phase with the site.

Every day I check back with “Coming Soon”. . . and though we know you are home safely, how WAS the last leg — and return to reality? Did you ride up to your front door?

    Edie and Brett,

How wonderful to read your blog!! It sounds like you had one awesome adventure this summer/fall. I’m writing because my wife and I bicycled across southern England on our honeymoon…in 1975. (when no American in their right might would take a bicycle trip. We even sewed our own chamois in the crotch of our bicycle shorts.) And we haven’t stopped cycling since. We now live in San Diego, which just has to be the best area on the country for bicycling, and are out on our bikes 12 months a year. We take a two-week touring trip every summer. I especially enjoyed reading your accounts from Portland to Lewiston. We did that exact route this summer. I even recognized the mini-mart in Roosevelt, Oregon. We also have toured between Missoula and the Tetons, so it was so much fun read about that part of your trip. Wishing you the best of luck in your marriage. If you are ever in San Diego, please stop and visit. Dave
